StarHow It Works

A clear, supportive process, designed around your child.

I understand that asking for help can feel overwhelming. That's why I keep the process simple, flexible, and centred around your family's needs. Here's what working with me typically looks like:

01

StarInitial Inquiry

You can reach out via the contact form, email, or phone. I'll respond promptly to arrange a free 15–20 minute phone call where we briefly discuss your concerns, what kind of support you're looking for, and whether my services are the right fit for your family.

02

StarInitial Assessment & Home Visit

If you decide to move forward, we'll book a home visit at a time that works for you. During this visit, I'll observe your child in their familiar environment, speak with you about their needs and behaviours, and begin building a full picture of your family's situation.

What to expect:

  • Observations of your child's behaviour, play, and communication
  • An open conversation about your goals and concerns
  • A safe, non-judgemental space to share your experience
03

Star1:1 Support & Parent Meetings

Over the following weeks, I offer direct one-to-one sessions with your child and regular check-ins or meetings with you as parents or caregivers. These sessions help me trial and adjust strategies in real time and offer you continued guidance and reassurance.

Support may include:

  • In-home 1:1 sessions
  • Coaching on routines, behaviour strategies, communication approaches
  • Support with transitions, emotional regulation, or specific behaviours
04

StarPersonalised 8-Week Plan

Within one week of our initial work together, I'll create a tailored 8-week plan outlining clear goals, daily or weekly strategies, and practical tools that match your child's needs and your family routines.

Support may include:

  • You'll receive a written plan that's easy to follow
  • We'll review progress weekly and make adjustments if needed
  • Support is flexible, you can include add-ons like school visits or emergency sessions at any point
05

StarReview & Next Steps

At the end of the 8 weeks, we'll meet to reflect on your child's progress, review what's working, and talk about any further support you may need. Some families feel confident moving forward independently, while others choose to continue sessions or access support on an as-needed basis.
